Trim the wick of your candle to approx. 3mm above the hardened wax top before each burn. This will help with a clean, optimal burn(A great way to do this is to pinch the wick once wax has hardened and cooled with a tissue).

Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the glass tumbler each time you burn your candle. This will ensure you realise maximum burn time and avoid wick pooling.

Aim to burn your candle for between 1-2 hours each time to fully experience the maximum scent throw. 

Clean the wax film from the inner walls of the glass tumbler after each burn when safe with paper towel to maintain your candles stunning appearance. Use paper towel with a dab of vegetable oil to wipe top of candle if dusty. Do not use commercial cleaning products to clean your candles. 

Store your candle in a cool dry place below 25c and away from direct sunlight. This will avoid discolouring, sweating and avoid changes in fragrance.

When your candle has expired, remove soy wax remnants from the tumbler and hand wash and re-used for whatever purpose you desire. Avoid putting tumbler in dishwasher. Soy wax will not dissolve in water and may clog your dishwasher’s insides.

When burning your Journey Fragrances candle:

– Do not move your lit candle. 
– Keep out of reach of children and pets.
– Burn candle on a stable, heat resistant surface.
– Avoid exposure to drafts.
– Never leave your lit candle unattended.
